Life During Wartime

Life During Wartime is the spiritual sequel to Todd Solondz's earlier seminal classics, using the same characters but replacing every actor from the originals. What results is vintage Solondz pitch-black comedy albeit now with a stronger sense of empathy. Knowledge in the director's previous works is not necessary, although it does add to the enjoyment.
